Position / Title	Customs Tariff and Commodity Specialist

Overview of Responsibilities:	The Customs Tariff and Commodity Specialist ensures accurate analysis of tariff on all rated files. He/she performs the duties of the role by exercising his/her judgment based on a detailed knowledge of company procedures, customs regulations and procedures. Able to perform complex tariff classification, knowledge of memorandums and tariff treatments. Must have Customs Brokers qualified status
Detailed Responsibilities:	Audit B3 to ensure quality and compliance Transmit files to CADEX Provide Customer support Investigate and resolve overdue files Review files/complete consulting requests to have B2 completed; forward to refund/amend/drawback clerk Liases with CCRA Prepares B2 refunds
Qualifications:	Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills Excellent speaking and presentation skills (telephone and face-to-face) Selling and persuasion skills Ability to manage stress Team player Strong computer skills and a good understanding of computer applications Experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry
