News Item Entered: Monday, June 26, 2006

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario—June 27, 2006—Schenker of Canada today announced the appointment of Eric Allard as its new Vice President and Product Manager for International Air. Eric takes over this role from David Rowswell who recently retired from Schenker after a 35 year career with the Company.

Allard will be responsible for overall business leadership for the International Air Product, including: carrier negotiations and relationship management; product pricing and marketing; and business development support with some key account management. He will also ensure the consistent application of standard operating processes and technology across Canada. Allard will report directly to Claude Germain, Executive Vice President & COO of Schenker Canada.

“We lost a stellar business executive in David Rowswell who just retired, but are thrilled to have Eric on board as he brings a wealth of experience to the Schenker team,” said Germain. “We are currently ranked third in Canada for International Air, and are confident that under Allard’s leadership, demand for this product will continue grow.“

Allard joins Schenker from DHL Global Forwarding, where he was Senior Director of Business Development in Canada. DHL Global Forwarding acquired Exel Global Logistics Canada while Allard was Regional Vice President responsible for Eastern Canada. At Exel, Allard was responsible for all aspects of the Company’s freight services business and guiding a team of 195 employees. Prior to Exel, Allard was General Manager of Menlo Worldwide’s Eastern Canadian sales and operations division. Allard holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Montreal Business School, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Concordia University. Allard is also Governor of the Supply Chain Program at the University of Montreal.
