2007 highlights Schenker’s long term involvement with the Australian International Airshow in Melbourne
Schenker Australia continues to be a trusted service provider for the grand Airshow event

(Melbourne 15/03/07) Since 1992, Schenker Australia has been appointed as the Official Logistics Provider and Exclusive Onsite Handling Agent for the Australian International Airshow. Every two years this impressive event takes place and attracts attention from national and international audiences. The event draws in around 200,000 people, hundreds of exhibitors from the international aerospace industry, numerous governments, military, scientific and trade delegations.
For Airshow 2007, Schenker will provide a complete range of freight forwarding, transportation, logistics and customs handling services from within Australia and around the world for all exhibitors and participants. Schenker is providing logistics management for over 100 tonnes of air freight and 35 sea freight containers from international exhibitors, as well as many truck loads from Australian participants for the Exhibition Arena.

The Airshow's CEO, Ian Honnery, says he is delighted to again have Schenker Australia back on board for the Airshow. "The Schenker organisation is a highly professional unit that provides a vital service to us as Event Organisers and our many hundreds of exhibitors", Mr. Honnery said.
Schenker will also be part of the Exhibition Arena - located at HALL A, stand 1a35 from March 20-25, 2007.
