Enhancement to BAX Global’s Services in North America

New alternative for freight between Newark and Toronto

(Irvine, Calif., 12 July 2007) Business shippers now have an alternative to overnight air freight between Newark, New Jersey and Toronto, Canada. Direct next day ground service by BAX Global and Schenker, offers an enhanced delivery time for the BAXSaverŠ product between these two areas, enabling shippers to send any size or weight shipments for less. Companies now have a reliable, one-day service that’s more economical than shipping by air.

Integrating around the globe, BAX Global and Schenker’s combined resources are providing increased benefits for customers, including new routes, shorter delivery times and competitive pricing.

Prior to this new service, customers in the Newark area needing next day delivery to Toronto, sent their shipments via overnight air, which is more costly than ground service.
